Sassouavi collection - “with a delicate crunch”

Intense work between me and my dear friend Alireza. We had such a beautiful flow during this process. I got to experiment, develop both my speed and my designing techniques. Got 3 keywords to work with. Other than that, I could put the Doverhag-essence throughout the design of the 3 garment-pieces.
After the final was postponed several times, it finally became a digital final. At last Alireza got the recognition we all have been waiting for! He won his own category and also got the title as “Hairdresser of the year”. Great job my friend!
Fun Facts
The Pattern for the dress was extremely weird in shape. It really high lights the inspiration from the Aquatic animals with its flexuous expression.
During this time I did not have access to my studio, So I was creating this collection mostly on my kitchen floor. Needles and threads everywhere! We also had to throw out the dining table to set up the industrial sewing machine in the kitchen.
