Non static steel

Trembling neon lights.
Beats that makes the body pound.
Feet that cross the chalky concrete floor.
Screams over skyscrapers, like crows over steeples, holding no meaning or purpose.
Noises that cut through your spine.
T-strap sandals that lingers round your legs like a snake around its kill.
Fabric that flutter and follow the rhythm of your walk.
You are confident the feeling won’t leave you.

In every corner of your eye you observe fragility and beauty.
A sunrise piercing the industrial landscape. Chimneys coughing out dark, grey smoke.
A woman taking long, fast strides.
Her direction is set and her path predestined.
The metal grate receive dirt from underneath her soles.

The naked message through the transparent mesh.
The back is free, there is nothing to hide.
The woman is a small part of a patched organism in the search of realism.
She roars at inaccuracies yet she will let kindness shine through her intentions, or will she?

Fun Facts

This was the trigger image for this collection. A picture I took of a metal grating on the ground of a Churchs´ front door. Found it alluring and in a way a bit naughty. It was used as a transfer print on an extremely flexible and transparent mesh, as you can see from the pictures above.

You can also find this pattern on the back of the “Plexi Prism gala dress”. Plexi glass cut with lacer.

-A heavy burden on something, oh so light and translucent?
